About

Dent-De-Leone is...

Dent-De-Leone is a not for profit publishing hut operating since 2007. Dent–De–Leone sees itself as being curious and any editorial line to be suspicious. Despite appearances Dent-De-Leone is not based in New Zealand and produces mostly books but also objects and immaterial publications based on conversations. Dent–De–Leone is Martino Gamper, Gemma Holt, Kajsa Ståhl & Maki Suzuki.

Åbäke is a transdisciplinary graphic design collective, founded in 2000 by Patrick Lacey (UK), Benjamin Reichen (FR), Kajsa Ståhl (SE) and Maki Suzuki (FR) in London, England, after meeting at the Royal College of Art.

Much of their work concentrates on the social aspect of design and the strength that collaboration can bring to a project.

Martino Gamper (IT) lives and works in London. Starting as an apprentice with a furniture maker in Merano, Gamper went on to study sculpture under Michelangelo Pistoletto at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna. He completed a Masters in 2000 from the Royal College of Art.

Working across design and art venues, Martino Gamper engages in a variety of projects from exhibition design, interior design, one-off commissions and the design of mass-produced products for the cutting edge of the international furniture industry.

Gemma Holt (UK) trained as both artist and designer and studied Design Products at the Royal College of Art.

She makes objects in a variety of materials, from paper to gold - each piece is conceived as both a work of art and design, neither driven solely by function nor by aesthetics. With every object she aims to express a complex idea, distilled into its simplest form.
